perfect.

I would watch this hell out of this. (Also, I like how Velma is pretty similar to what she already look like. :3)

NOFX - My Orphan Year

Fat Mike is so underrated.

HNNNG

COASTER IS ONE OF MY TOP FIVE FAVORITE ALBUMS. NOT JUST BY NOFX. IT IS SOOOO GOOD.

I totally agree. I also didn’t know you listened to NOFX. This makes you sightly more awesome in my book.

Tiger Army - Nocturnal

I kinda wish I listened to Tiger Army more often. Everytime I hear a song of theirs, I like it.

7 goddamn reasons why Rancid (band) is one of the best punk/ska bands of our time

  1. “Indestructable”
Have you ever heard a more perfect album in your life? This CD is the definition of everything that is right with punk music.  Everytime I’m in a bad mood, I throw this CD on and it transports me to the warm beaches of California.  If you don’t listen to the entire CD, atleast listen to Indestructible, Fall Back Down, David Courtney, Red Hot Moon, Spirit of ‘87, Tropical London, and Otherside.  You won’t regret it, promise.
  2. “Let the Dominoes Fall”
I bought this CD release day with the DVD combo, because I had finally come into full swing with my love of Rancid when this came out, so I naturally had to buy it.  Initially I was kinda upset, because it wasn’t the Rancid I had learned to love, but I pressed on because it was still rather good. Upon further inspection, I found the deeper meaning in this CD; this CD is about the glory of the American soldier.  The other half is about the East Bay, but more importantly its about the trials and tribulations of a soldier overseas and back in America.
  3. Tim motherfucking Armstrong
So basically, this guy is the definition of the true underdog story. After the collapse of Operation Ivy Tim fell into alcoholism, which later pushed him to lose everything.  He was homeless for Christ’s sake- the lead singer and lead guitarist for Rancid was homeless.  He overcame alcoholism and release Rancid (1993) and he is the man he is today.  Plus, he’s the only person I know that can wear a fedora and not look like a douchbag.
  4. Matt motherfucking Freeman
The bassist.  Who cares, right? Wrong.  This guy is one the best bass players I have heard and one of the only bass players I feel is worthy in my books to remember his name.  Listen to this motherfucking solo
  5. Billie Joe Armstrong
Like Green Day? Yea, me neither, atleast their new stuff.  Other than that, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day co-wrote  ”Radio,” which is one of the band’s more popular songs.  Also, Billie Joe Armstrong was close to joining Rancid and leaving Green Day, but decided against it.
  6. Like Hardcore?
Listen to the self titled album, “Rancid [2000].”  Thank me later after you’re done moshing in your dorm room alone.
  7. Like Ska?
Listen to “Life Won’t Wait” and thank me later.

All of this - YES! But I would say that …And Out Came The Wolves is the best Rancid album of all time. Indestructible is still good, though.

Also, I am so happy I started following you. You seem to be spot on with my interests. (Frogman, FOTC, Tumblr, AND Rancid? Who are you and why are you so aweome?)
