2018Today I bought all the necessary supplies to make my Princess Daisy costume. I am going to be wearing my yellow prom dress with a few minor adjustments. I bought orange tulle for the bottom stripes of the dress, orange fabric for the peplum and felt of several colors to make the crown, chest piece and earrings. I am so excite you don’t even understand.
I also bought clothes for a Fiona (the Human) costume. All I need now is some green fabric to make her backpack and white fleece to make the bunny hat.
AND I got a red corset bustier as part of a costume for Rocky. This year is going to be so great. I cannot wait to usher. :D

And this is cosplay for crissake! Let people do whatever the fuck they want. It’s not your problem.
Okay, guys. I need your help with something.
You see, I’m going to be River Tam (from the television show, Firefly and the movie, Serenity) for Halloween. I’m going to wear a blue dress much like the one she wore in the movie. I also am planning on carrying the Reaver sword and axe that she uses in one of the scenes. This is where it gets difficult. You see, I’m on a tight budget and I need to create these weapons from things around my house. I have silver spray paint, but I’m not sure what to actually construct them out of. Several layers of cardboard? I don’t know. If anyone has any better ideas or tips on how to go about making these delightful blades just reply to this post or leave something in my ask.
(NOTE: I fucking know that she doesn’t use the sword and axe when she’s dressed in the blue dress. I just prefer the blue dress to the beaded green dress. It was a lot easier to find as well.)
