Just came across this while research a project my friend is doing on body image and “the perfect body”. I thought some of you might find it interesting.
I also, just want to say, that I think you’re all beautiful and amazing, and so incredibly brave, and I admire you all <3
I love this image. The doll is such a powerful symbol in so many girls’ lives. I wonder how much impact it would make if dolls came in real body proportions like this one. How much guilt and hatred would be spared?
